"Having lens replacement in both eyes was something I had been thinking about for many years. I have worn varifocal glasses for about 20 years. Due to the nature of my work and my high anxiety about anything to do with eyes I wanted both eyes done at the same time under general anaesthetic. I understand this was unusual but having explained everything, including the risks involved, to me Mr Ross agreed. Unfortunately I contracted Covid shortly before my procedure was due to take place. It was postponed with no issues. I have had my new lenses now for 12 days and haven’t worn glasses since the op. A follow up appointment was arranged which confirmed everything was fine.
